Spain … Again

Since my last blog entry, I have been back and forth across the Atlantic Ocean. Sathya Sai Baba has passed away. Earthquakes shook Spain the day after I left in May. We have had a housewarming at MMSCI world headquarters, and presented the Baroness Uschi Vondiergardt an award for her support and generosity in acquiring the property. My predictions for gold and silver are coming true. Japan seems to have recovered or at least survived its nuclear power station meltdown and the ensuing chaos of its economic crisis.

I am sitting on La Rambla de Catalunya street in Barcelona, and it’s a perfect night. People of different nationalities are parading by, and the sounds of motorcycles, and bicycles fill the air. I can hear people speaking different languages, taxis are everywhere, and it seems just about everyone is on a cell phone (if they aren’t engaged in a deep social conversation with someone in the cafe).
