FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

TORONTO, CANADA – Toronto-born author, Dr. Douglas Cottrell, is returning to his old neighbourhood to launch his newest book, THE NEW EARTH.

In the 1970s, Dr. Cottrell worked on the huge printing presses at The Toronto Star at 1 Yonge Street. Now settled west of the city, on May 2, 2015, he returns to the Yonge Street area to give a free lecture in celebration of the launch of his newest book.

The New Earth is a book about the future of our world. “Look around you,” Dr. Cottrell says. “Does the world seem sane, normal and comfortable? If the world you see is chaotic, unpredictable, and just a little bit dangerous, then this book is for you.” Super volcanoes in Greece, Italy, Chile and the USA are showing signs of activity. Weather patterns are changing with some areas experiencing record highs and lows. Ice sheets in Greenland and the Antarctic are losing mass each year and the oceans of the world are heating up.

Dr. Cottrell has a unique perspective on what is causing these changes, which he will be discussing at a free lecture he is giving on May 2, 2015 at the Holiday Inn, 30 Carlton Street,

“People need to be aware of the extreme high probability of seeing major Earth Changes in their own lifetime,” Dr. Cottrell says, “and how to prepare for them for the benefit of themselves and their loved ones.”
