Feeling the Pressure…

There seems to be something in the air today that is making us feel tired achy and wanting to go to bed right away. I’ve spoken to several people who feel the same even though they are from different parts of the world. This lackluster feeling seems to be accompanied by problems in the legs. Either there is a problem in moving the legs like stiffness or partial paralysis, or the legs are simply painful and difficult to move. Also there is a feeling like the flu is coming on and breathing is a little difficult.  Perhaps you’re feeling a little lethargic or things are just not going your way today.  Taking into consideration that it is Friday and a full-moon is coming tomorrow, we might excuse the way we feel, blaming it on the astrological influences.  In doing so you might not be too far off the mark.

We have been experiencing some very unusual weather around the globe. In Canada we have been experiencing a cold snap for the last few days with record lows for January. It was just a few days ago that we were experiencing record highs in Ontario. The vacillation of the temperature from one extreme to another does affect us physically, mentally, and emotionally.  If you have been watching the stock markets, they have been going down this last week. This would equate to a pessimistic outlook for people.

In Europe, the weather has been very severe as well. Spain’s very cold weather all of last week, in the mountainous areas north of Madrid, has seen unusual snowfalls and very cold temperatures. A cyclonic storm coming into parts of Spain was apparently responsible for this unusual winter weather. Some of my friends in Spain were unable to get out from the remote mountainous places they live in.

Add to the mix, sunspot activity is increasing. Recent magnetic disturbances or radiation from the sun are expected to hit the Earth on Friday or Saturday. This type of radiation usually makes people nervous and anxious. It also makes us feel very tired and worn out.

There have been reports of volcanic activity increasing around the globe as well.

Intuitively speaking, I would expect that the weekend will be quiet. We should feel better by Monday or Tuesday — perhaps even until Wednesday. I suggest taking more iron, zinc, chlorophyll, and magnesium. Also my intuition suggests taking a handful of roasted almonds everyday for the next several days. Try to stay away from alcohol and carbonated drinks – and of course more than likely you want to spend a little R&R time in bed. Staying home this weekend might be a good idea to recharge your batteries.

Cheers Douglas
